Deleting messages in IMAP works differently than POP3 as well. From the OE help files: To delete a message from an IMAP account - In the message list, select the message. Since I switched to an IMAP server I can no longer use filters on the IMAP folders nor do I have a trash folder for deleted messages.

Is this a limitation of IMAP? Is there a better junk filter than SpamSieve for IMAP accounts? On a couple of my POP accounts, SpamSieve correctly moves spam into a Spam folder. You have to filter based on something that is true. What is true is that there is no personality header for the dominant account. IIRC, there is no personality header for any other IMAP accounts either though, which is what I was talking about when I said using IMAP accounts complicates the matter.
